Invitation areas (survey 2022)
Eight districts across Germany that are affected to varying degrees are selected as invitation areas. Around 3,000 people aged 18 and over will be included in the study per invitation area.

Coming from the north on the A7, at the Hannover-Kirchhorst junction (exit 56) take the B3 in the direction of Hannover.
Coming from the west or east on the A2, drive
at the Hanover-Buchholz junction (exit 47) onto the B3 in the direction of Hanover.
Coming from the south on the A7, change at the Hannover – Süd triangle
(Exit 60) onto the B3 in the direction of Hanover.
Arriving on the B3 (Messeschnellweg) , take the Weidetorkreisel exit. At the roundabout, take the exit onto Karl-Wiechert-Allee. After 300m turn right into Rudolf-Pichlmayr-Strasse and after 200m turn left into Feodor-Lynen-Strasse. turn. The National Cohort Study Center is about 300m on the right-hand side in the CRC building. Free parking spaces are available (entrance to the right of the building).
Barrier-free parking on specially marked areas is possible directly in front of the building. The examination rooms are on the ground floor and are wheelchair accessible. A disabled toilet is available.
By public transport:
From the main train station , take underground line 3 (Altwarmbüchen), 7 (Misburg) or 9 (Fasanenkrug) and get off at the Spannhagengarten stop. At the bus stop, cross the main road and get on a bus line 137 (Am Pferdeturm) at the bus stop there. Get off at the Nobelring stop.
From Aegidientorplatz , take underground line 4 in the direction of Roderbruch and get off at the “Medical University” stop. Then follow Karl-Wiechert-Allee on foot in the direction of Weidetorkreisel until you reach the junction with Feodor-Lynen-Straße on the left (approx. 12-minute walk; 1.1 km). Alternatively, you can continue from the “Medical University” bus stop with bus line 123 (Noltemeyerbrücke) and line 137 (Spannhagengarten) to the “Nobelring” bus stop.
The train station “Karl-Wiechert-Allee” is served by the following trains: S3, S6 and S7, the bus line 123 can be used from there to the stop “Nobelring”.

How to get to Mark Fortress:
The Mark Fortress is located in the center of Magdeburg.
You will find us on the B1, between Universitätsplatz and the banks of the Elbe in the park at the intersection of Gustav-Adolf-Str. / Walther-Rathenau-Strasse.
You can reach the Mark Fortress by car via the B1 . There are sufficient parking spaces in the immediate vicinity in our car park (see below for costs) and in the large car parks on Listemannstraße and Schleinufer, which are also suitable for buses.

Since some navigation devices cannot find the street “Hohepfortewall 1” in their maps, we recommend that you enter “Hohepfortestraße 37” (employment agency).
You can reach us by public transport using lines 2, 5, 73 (Listemannstraße stop) and 1, 8, 9, 10, 94 (Opernhaus stop).
